Live Online Seminar:

Cycles for Phonology

Saturday, March 20, 2021

9:00am - 3:00pm

Registration fee for early birds is $165

     Registration after March 5, 2021 is $175

Have you ever wanted to learn how to use the Cycles Approach? Do you have children with phonological delays who have more errors than you can correct with traditional articulation? If so, this is the workshop for you!

Learn how to treat these cases in HALF the time of traditional articulation! Cycles focuses on patterns and efficient generalization through target selection that can drastically reduce therapy time for children with difficult phonological process challenges. Children that show high usage of phonological processes (i.e., use t/k and t/s) can benefit greatly from the Cycles Approach.

SLPs and SLPAs will learn how to target patterns of sounds rather than individual sounds in each place (initial, medial, final) and type of utterance (word, phrase, sentence, conversation). The instructor will take participants through an overview of delivery and scoring of the Hodson Assessment of Phonological Processes-3 (HAPP-3) and this course will provide strategies to use in your therapy sessions tomorrow! Implementing this program can reduce therapy time by 50% or more, even in children with severe/profound phonological delays.

Saturday, March 20, 2021

The course begins promptly at 9:00 AM EASTERN TIME (New York Time)
In order to successfully complete the course, participants will be required to attend the entire course

Streaming Via Zoom

We strongly recommend you to logging into Zoom ahead of the workshop to ensure access, address any technical difficulties, and to familiarize yourself with the platform.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

This was the most comprehensive and useful seminar I have ever attended. From learning the full approach to seeing it in practice, I cannot wait to start this with some kiddos on my caseload!

Everything was extremely clear and easy to understand. I look forward to applying these new skills with my own students.

I thought this seminar was fantastic. I definitely feel prepared to jump in and try this tomorrow!

I found both the instructor presenting and the interactive piece where we were prompted to interpret evaluation results to be very effective.

Really helpful introduction to the approach Dawn is a lively and cheerful speaker, which is great to listen to! clinical examples. great too Thanks.

My favorite part was scoring the HAPP-3, I think it was incredibly insightful and helped me to understand more clearly.
